A bear growling, thunder and lightning crashing down, strong winds and stormy rain, or rocks tumbling down the side of a mountain. Other than the noise from potentially harmful events, our environment was relatively silent.

They have far too much convenience, opportunity, and proximity. Part of me would love to move to a cabin in the woods but that means I’m moving away from family, have no easy access to grocery stores, less work opportunities, and fewer amenities (gyms, movie theatres, banks, shows, sports…).
